About Me

Hi! My name is Qianyu (Cherry) Zhou. I'm a Background Painter / Visual Development Artist living in Los Angeles, California. Currently, I'm working as a Background Painter at DreamWorks Animation TV.

I was born and raised in Hunan province of China. I fell in love with animation since I was a child, and with passion, eventually turned into my career. I graduated from CalArts with a BFA in Character Animation. With pleasure, I have worked on projects like "The Mighty Ones", "The Harper House", and "Archibald's Next Big Thing".
